Fiber optic network design and installation SmartEra

Optical network design and implementation

The expert team at Smart Era Consulting provides comprehensive design and implementation of optical networks for industrial, corporate, residential and public sector projects. Our services include backbone optical network design, development of optimal optical topology, planning of redundant routes, as well as precise optical cable laying and fiber splicing.

Fast. Reliable. Scalable optical network.

The design of optical networks is now a critical element of industrial and business infrastructure. At Smart Era Consulting we manage the entire project: on-site surveys, backbone and access network design, definition of optical topology, laying optical cable along selected routes, professional fiber splicing and detailed OTDR testing. Our work is based on accurate site analysis and taking future traffic demands into account.

Optical network planning

Based on the site’s geodetic and technical characteristics, expected traffic and future expansion needs, we design the optimal optical topology and backbone network. We determine the required fiber capacity, suitable laying routes and the level of redundancy so that you have a reliable and scalable network.

Optical topology and redundancy

We design the optimal optical topology for your network (ring, mesh or hierarchical) and recommend redundant routes to increase operational reliability. A redundant optical backbone and diversified routes reduce the risk of outages and ensure continuous communication for critical applications.

Optical cable laying and fiber splicing

We undertake a variety of optical cable installation methods (flat tray, underground concrete duct, trenching, directional drilling, aerial deployment) and professional fiber splicing. Fiber splices are performed according to strict quality standards, and for every handover we verify connection and joint quality with OTDR measurements.

OPTICAL NETWORK DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION AT A HIGH STANDARD

A reliable optical network is not just the sum of cables and connectors: careful route planning, proper technical execution, the quality of fiber splicing, OTDR measurement reports and post-delivery support ensure sustained operation. During design we consider existing infrastructure, necessary protective ducts and the possibility of future expansion so that the completed optical backbone serves growing demands over the long term.

Optical backbone network design

The optical backbone is the system’s core: we systematically determine the backbone’s fiber capacity, its nodes and the required internal reserve. During design we consider service requirements, redundancy and maintainability so that the backbone network remains reliable in the long term.

Fiber splicing

We provide precise fiber splicing and connectorization with experienced technicians and modern fusion splicers. We document loss values for fiber joints and certify every splice with an OTDR measurement report to ensure a reliable handover.

Redundant routes and network resilience

To increase network availability we design redundant routes and diversely routed segments. This ensures that service remains available in the event of a failure and reduces business risks caused by downtime.

FTTx and enterprise access networks

For apartment buildings, office buildings and industrial sites we design the access network (FTTx, enclosed distribution cabinets, indoor cabling), including individual fiber assignment and billable measurement options. We pay attention to the needs of residents and operators to ensure scalability.

OTDR measurement and certification

OTDR measurement is a fundamental part of the handover: our measurements check attenuation, splice losses and reflections, and we prepare a detailed measurement report. The OTDR test ensures that optical cable installation and fiber splicing meet the prescribed technical requirements.

Documentation and project management

For every project we provide detailed as-built documentation, labeling and measurement reports. Our project management ensures adherence to deadlines, costs and quality requirements, and after handover we offer support and maintenance services.
