Critical infrastructure operations and redundancy

SmartERA provides comprehensive services in the design and operation of power supply for critical infrastructures. We offer solutions for server room and data center power supply, UPS systems, generator integration, PDU systems and energy monitoring, covering everything from design through implementation and system integration to commissioning and ongoing support. Our goal is to guarantee high availability and operational reliability for our clients, minimizing downtime and optimizing energy consumption.

Reliable power supply for server rooms and data centers

When designing power supply for modern server rooms and data centers, availability, redundancy and energy efficiency are the most important requirements. From the on-site survey we determine the required UPS capacity, appropriate PDU distribution, integration of generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS), and the implementation of energy monitoring and remote supervision. We design N+1 or higher levels of redundancy, take cooling and power requirements into account, and propose solutions that reduce the risk of failures and ensure business continuity.

Server room and data center power supply design

Based on the on-site assessment and energy audit we develop the optimal system architecture: we determine UPS sizing, locations and characteristics of required PDUs, capacity of backup power sources (generators) and the transfer switching logic. We prepare design documentation, cost estimates and a scalable architecture that meets server and data center requirements.

Redundancy and high availability

We design and implement redundant topologies that minimize single points of failure: UPS systems, paralleled PDUs, multi-path power supplies and automatic generator switchover (ATS). Our experienced engineers tailor solutions according to N+1, 2N and custom critical system levels to ensure continuous, secure power supply for server rooms and data centers.

Implementation and system integration

We undertake full installation and integration of power supply systems: UPS installation, generator and ATS wiring, PDU commissioning, and configuration of energy monitoring and remote supervision systems. After installation we perform detailed tests (transfer times, operation under load, simulation of fault conditions), and hand over documented commissioning to our clients.

CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE POWER SUPPLY — SAFETY AND REDUNDANCY

Powering critical systems is not just about installing equipment: design includes balancing energy sources, integrating uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and generators, correctly implementing PDU systems, and introducing centralized energy monitoring. Our services cover every layer of power supply: concept design, technical documentation, support for technical procurement, installation, system testing and long-term maintenance. This way our clients receive guaranteed, continuous power for their critical applications.

UPS systems and uninterruptible power supplies

The UPS system plays a key role in ensuring uninterrupted operation. Our engineers help select the appropriate type and sizing, whether online, line-interactive or modular systems. We integrate UPS units with PDUs and monitoring systems, ensuring easy maintenance, scalability and high availability.

Generators and backup power sources

Designing and integrating generators and other backup power sources is a critical part of data center power supply. We define required start-up logic, capacity and consumption monitoring, and maintenance protocols. Special attention is given to seamless cooperation between automatic transfer switches, generator management and UPS systems.

PDU systems and distribution

By designing and installing PDU systems we ensure rack-level and room-level power distribution, measurement points and protection solutions. Proper selection and configuration of PDUs improves energy efficiency, simplifies load balancing and supports future expansion.

Server room infrastructure

We carry out complex server room works: racking, power and network distribution, taking into account the energy requirements of climate control equipment and designing fault-tolerant architectures. All activities are documented and carried out in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Energy monitoring and supervisory systems

Energy monitoring is key to cost-effective and reliable operation. We install network and consumption metering systems, PDU-level monitoring and central EMS (Energy Management System) solutions that provide real-time data and reports. These tools help optimize energy use and quickly identify operational anomalies.

Electrical network and protection

Secure operation is based on a properly sized and protected electrical network. We check connection capacity, recommend necessary protective devices (surge protection, overcurrent protection, grounding), and deliver a documented network plan. The solutions comply with professional requirements and support future expansion or topology changes.
